What was the highlight of Sensira Resort & Spa Riviera Maya
Good family resort for off-season time (May, June); I would not recommend it during high-season
The staff was very kind, accomodating and friendly, in particular the staff from the Lobby bar (names Domingo, Justo, Janiticia, Enrique)
The organization and communication could have been better - as it was off-season not all restaurants were opened and it could change on a daily basis without prior notice. The food was overall average quality. Also, some days there was some disgusting smell at the lobby bar and the main pool, probably coming from the sewage system.

Great value for money, fairly new family hotel, clean and nice amenities like kids club, pool, trampoline park, PlayStation, sports facilities etc. Nice pools and delicious food and variety The limited number of lounge chairs at the beach and pool is the only things to be improved

What was the highlight of Sensira Resort & Spa Riviera Maya
Really good for family trip!
Staff was friendly and helpful. There were a lot of activities for smaller kids and some for the teens. We would have liked more activities geared toward 15-16 year olds. Beds were comfortable and balconies had lovely sea views. Staff worked hard to keep the seaweed off the beach. Nightly family oriented entertainment every night was nice.Buffet had wide selection and the cook to order items were particularly good. There were some maintenance items (broken beach chairs and paint) that need attention. All in all a really good family resort.

What was the highlight of Sensira Resort & Spa Riviera Maya
Nice facility with good food & friendly staff that has beach & reservation issues.
The food was above average - the Rodeo Grille & the french restaurant were both outstanding. The breakfast & lunch buffets were both excellent. The swimming pools were nice, as was the hot tub in the adult pool area. The snack bar & cocktail bars between the main pools were great! The rooms were specious & comfy with a view of the ocean & pools. British pub was very good, as was the game room. We did a snorkling trip with a 3rd party company Nyhus Divers that was great! Beach volleyball & aqua aerobics were fun!
The beach had a lot of seaweed & the water was not pretty. We were told that up in Cancun & down at Playa del Carmen they don't have this issue, but this area gets a lot of seaweed - - - we didn't know that. Also, if you didn't reserve a lounge chair by the pool or beach by 7:30 am or so, you're probably out of luck. They need a better way to reserve lounge chairs. Also, the pools were a little on the chilly side - - - they weren't heated. The Italian & Mexican restaurants had food that was below average - - - the chicken enchiladas & chicken parmesan were both sub-par.
